Overview
The Nazareth Hospital maternity ward witnessed a heartwarming outreach project by Rotary Club Shillong Heritage focused on the well-being of both mothers and newborns. As part of the initiative, 50 newborn clothing sets consisting of baby T-shirts, socks, caps, and baby towels were distributed to the mothers of newborn babies admitted in the ward.
To promote maternal health and nutrition, each mother was also handed a packet of healthy fruits containing apples and malta oranges. The project aimed at extending care, comfort, and support to mothers and their newborns during this special phase of life.
The mothers expressed their gratitude and happiness for the thoughtful gesture. The initiative reflected Rotary Club Shillong Heritage?s continued commitment towards maternal and child health and its dedication to serving the community with compassion and care.
